I just got back from Christmas Eve at Disneyland with the family. The new Star Wars and Toon Town rides are pretty incredible. Especially compared to the 1970’s esque animatronics of some of the older rides. The new rides do have one downside. They break down all the time. Multiple times per day. Mickie & Minnie’s Runaway Railway broke when we were midway through the ride. This led us to meet a dude my dad called “Red” (He was wearing a red jumpsuit). Each ride car has 2 rows. My family was in the back row, and Red’s family was in the front row. Almost immediately Red squeezes under the bar and breaks out of the ride. He has a cast on his leg, and he tells us he’s not going to have his leg discombobulated on this ride. Then he starts playing R&B music on his phone and starts telling us nonsense for a solid 20 mins. Me, my dad, my sister, and Red’s wife are all looking down trying not to engage. But we’re trapped. My mom is gassing this guy up. The Disney workers come to try and bring order. Red gets confrontational and says “You can’t even get into a bar. I’m an adult. Don’t tell me what to do and talk to me like y’all grown.” The Disney workers leave. Red tries to rally the cars in front and back of us into a chant for free food from Disney. The Disney workers finally get us off the ride, and we start walking towards the exit. Red tells the worker he needs a wheelchair (for his leg). The Disney worker asks Red if he wants to lean on him instead. I assume to punk him. In a strange turn of events, Red agrees, and they walk out arm in arm.
Now onto New Years. I’m getting ready to go to a masquerade party. Strong chance there are 2 cute girls and 150 old people. Wish me luck.

Realtors get a lot of hate, but the ones I have worked with have been really good. And I will continue to use realtors. One of my duplexes had multiple offers when I was trying to buy it. I think there is a good chance my offer would not have been accepted if my realtor was not a relative of the seller.

I still think of this sweet duplex next to a Whole Foods in Wichita that was priced at $170k. I tried to get my realtor over to the property to take a closer look, but it was already off the market by the next day. Idk about pricing error, but it seemed that way. That would have been great money.

I guess Crystal Lagoons are the next thing. I’d live there.
